Unspoken Words is a multi-disciplinary artist collective. We work with many arts modes — word, music, movement, visual and more — to create practical and performative events by and for storytellers.

Unspoken Words Storytelling is currently on hiatus. Read more.

Our 2018 festival ran 7 – 17 September at eight venues across the Inner West of Sydney. Its program comprised of performances, discussions, workshops and installations, with a focus on health and self-care.

We base our work from the land of the Gadigal & Wangal peoples of the Eora nation. Sovereignty never ceded. We wish to pay respects to elders past and present, and all First Nations storytellers. This always was and always will be Aboriginal land.

In all sessions we run a ‘safer spaces’ policy; there is no tolerance for disrespect / discrimination. Here’s our accessibility info.
